Welcome to Bucharest
If you’re going to do something, do it well. And in 2026… we are going BIG.
This is not just a list of fixtures.
It’s a journey. A statement. A reunion of friends and rivals from across Europe. A celebration of amateur rugby played with passion, respect, and that unmistakable Arlechinii spirit.
People keep asking us:
“Is this your amateur national league schedule?”
“Is this the Romanian championship calendar?”
“Is this some kind of European amateur cup?”
We usually smile.
No.
This is just how Arlechinii rugby looks like.
There is no official amateur league.
There is no structured championship for us.
There is just rugby. And friends. And teams from across Europe who choose to come to Bucharest and share the field with us.
And in 2026… we are welcoming plenty of them.
14.03 – Ocean Rugby Club (Paris, FRA)
We open the season by welcoming our friends from Paris. Expect flair, pace and that unmistakable French rugby rhythm.
Bucharest will be ready.
09.05 – Mill Hill (ENG)
Mill Hill were here before, and we had a blast — great rugby, great laughs, and memories that still make us smile.
16.05 – Pinley RFC (ENG)
Strong rugby cultures.
Structured play, disciplined forwards and proper third halves. English rugby travels well — and we are proud to host it.
23.05 – Wasps (ENG) & Bandars Log Marseille (FRA)
A special international mix.
England meets France.
And both meet Arlechinii.
It will be a day of rugby, friendships and stories that will grow bigger every year.
30.05 – Gosford All Blacks (ENG)
Yes. That name.
Tradition. Physicality. Pride.
We expect a serious test — and we wouldn’t want it any other way.
06.06 – Pontllanfraith RFC (WAL)
Welsh rugby is heart, toughness and community spirit.
It fits perfectly in Bucharest.
13.06 – Stompers (Malta) & Old Costonians Bristol (ENG)
We close this international series with Mediterranean energy and British experience.
Different styles. Same passion.
This Is How We Do It!
Since there is no amateur championship to play in, we build our own.
- We respond to teams asking
- They come
- We host
- We play
- We share food, drinks, stories and respect
For us, rugby is not about rankings.
It’s about connection.
So if you were wondering what the Arlechinii “league table” looks like in 2026… here it is.
A field in Bucharest.
Friends from five countries.
And one rule:
Play hard. Laugh harder.
